Another classic in-town hike in Ouray. Starting from the Ampitheater Campground, the Portland Trail circles around in an almost-5 mile loop with more great views of the mountains surrounding the town. There is an optional add-on of going to the Chief Ouray Mine, but with a snowstorm moving in, we decided to save that adventure for another day.
